About

Main Stage productions are our largest events of the season. Yearly Main Stage productions include:

  • One Main Stage Musical in November at Jackson College’s Potter Center
    • Six performances over two weekends
  • One Main Stage Dinner Theatre in February/March at the Sandhill Crane Vineyards
    • Nine performances over three weekends
  • One Main Stage Musical in June at Jackson College’s Potter Center
    • Six performances over two weekends

Who can participate?

Main Stage Dinner Theatre is typically for adult actors only.

Main Stage Musicals may include youth or teen actors, though this depends on the production and vision of the director. Center Stage Jackson strives to include as many different demographics as possible over time, so if there are not any productions that fit your demographic this year, it is likely that there will be next year! For example, our 2016-17 Season included two youth-friendly musicals, so our 2017-18 Season is geared towards adult actors.

If you are interested in youth-specific opportunities, check out our Youth Theater information!

Feeling Overwhelmed?

That’s okay! Everyone has to start somewhere. If you are new to theater, please don’t be afraid to come to an audition to see what the process is like! If it all seems a little overwhelming, our Readers Theatre Series is a great way to get your feet wet acting without too much of a time commitment.
