A Note from Center Stage Jackson
It’s starting to finally feel like SPRING!! This season for us means it’s time for our annual cabaret.
TICKETS ARE FOR SALE ONLINE NOW OR FOR PURCHASE AT THE DOOR! We’re moving into a new downtown venue, which opens up a new kind of experience for both our performers and our audience. Join us for Raise Our Voices – more info below.
We’re also coming off of Twinderella, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported our youth! The energy in that show was fun, and it only happens because people show up – for the kids, for the arts, for each other. Thanks to East Jackson for working with us as well.
We are so lucky to have members and a community who continually show up to be a part of our organization. Our Member Spotlight this month is Jacob Jabkiewicz and his story almost spans our lifetime! Find it below.
If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with CSJ, this is a great time. We know so many of you love our productions, we could use more people who want to join our committees, help us fundraise, help with barn cleanout (if you like to watch episodes of Hoarders, you may enjoy this…) and so much more! Reach out or hit reply to this email. We would love to hear from you.

Raise Our Voices
Our spring cabaret is one of the most intimate experiences we offer at Center Stage Jackson.
This show brings together a group of local performers sharing music in a setting that feels close, relaxed, and personal. It’s not a large-scale production – it’s an evening where you can settle in, enjoy live music, and feel connected to what’s happening in the room.
With limited seating, each performance is designed to create a more up-close experience between the audience and performers.

- Dates: April 17–19 & 24–26
- Times: Friday & Saturday at 7:00 PM | Sunday at 3:00 PM

Youth Theatre Update
A big congratulations to the cast and crew of Twinderella! We have heard so many positive reviews! The show was funny, high-energy, and just really fun to watch. The students worked hard, and it showed. Thank you to the families, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support them. We can’t wait to see you for our next youth show!

We’re always looking for people who want to be part of CSJ beyond the stage.
Right now, we’re especially looking for:

We’re also hosting a Barn Cleanout Day and would love extra hands to help at our Barn off Emmons Rd (near Jackson College)

Come for a few hours or stay the day – any help makes a difference.

Member Spotlight
Jacob Jabkiewicz has been part of the Center Stage Jackson community since 1988, when he first took the Baughman stage in Oliver. Since then, he’s performed in shows like The Music Man, Shrek, and Hello, Dolly!, and supported productions behind the scenes as well.
A fifth-grade teacher with a background in architecture, Jacob says he’s still “figuring it out.” What keeps him coming back to theatre is simple: acceptance and hope.
Board Meetings – Community Invitation
Board meetings are held:
- First Monday of each month
- 6:00 PM
Locations are shared on social media.
Meetings are open to CSJ members.
Help Shape Our Future: CSJ Community Survey
Center Stage Jackson is entering a new chapter, and we want your feedback.
This quick survey (under 3 minutes) helps us understand what’s working, what makes it harder to attend, and what you’d like to see next.
Whether you come all the time, once in a while, or haven’t been in a bit – your voice matters.
