I had every intention of keeping these newsletters monthly this year… and then July got away from me.
The summer was full of beautiful days, things were a little quieter at CSJ, and suddenly we’re heading into fall. So we’re combining July and August for a quick summer catch-up. And most importantly: we have TWO shows with tickets now on sale!
First up is The Guys, opening September 10, followed just a few weeks later by The Wizard of Oz.

THE GUYS | SEPTEMBER 10–13
This September marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and Center Stage Jackson is honored to present The Guys at East Jackson High School. This moving play follows a New York City fire captain and the editor who helps him write eulogies for members of his company lost on 9/11.
Featuring Doug Hutt and Kary Swiontek, The Guys is an intimate, two-person production with a story centered on loss, remembrance, and the people who answered the call.
ALL proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local first responders, benefiting the Jackson County Fire Chiefs Association, Police Week Michigan, and Jackson Community Ambulance.

NEXT CSJ BOARD MEETING
Our next Center Stage Jackson Board Meeting will be Monday, August 31 from 6:00–7:30 PM at Lean Rocket Lab in downtown Jackson.
Our meetings are normally held on the first Monday of the month, but September’s meeting has been moved due to Labor Day and The Wizard of Oz rehearsal schedule.
CSJ Board Meetings are open to members, and all are welcome to attend.
